AML and Transaction Review Policy

arbswap.org reviews exchange activity to identify suspected fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and attempts to evade applicable restrictions. This policy explains how a review can affect a payment and what we may ask you to provide.

A standard swap does not require a trading account. That model does not prevent a particular transaction from requiring identity or source-of-funds checks.

Prohibited Use

Do not use the service to exchange stolen or illegally obtained funds, facilitate fraud or conceal proceeds of crime. Transactions connected with money laundering, terrorist financing or evasion of applicable restrictions are not permitted.

We can decline an exchange when its purpose, payment history or requested use conflicts with these conditions. Availability of a quote is not clearance for prohibited activity.

When We Review a Transaction

Checks consider the payment and information relevant to its risk. Unusual activity, suspected links to illicit funds, inconsistent explanations or missing information can require further examination.

A review can pause processing even after the deposit has received blockchain confirmations. Confirmation proves a network event; it does not complete our examination of the exchange.

Information We May Request

We may request an explanation of the payment, evidence of control over the sending funds, source-of-funds information or identity documents where needed. Provide accurate information relevant to the specific request.

Send review materials only through the protected channel arranged by our compliance team. We never require your recovery phrase, private keys or remote access to your wallet.

What Happens to the Exchange

Depending on the findings, we may continue processing, request clarification, agree revised exchange terms or decline execution. A changed quote requires agreement rather than an unannounced conversion at a new rate.

We do not promise a universal review deadline. The time needed depends on the issues to resolve and the information available.

Refunds and Unresolved Payments

For an approved refund of an eligible unexecuted exchange, we return the sending asset minus the actual refund network cost, without a separate service penalty. Our target is to broadcast it within 30 hours after approval, verification of the refund address and release of any review hold.

That interval does not start with the original deposit or first support message. Recovery of payments sent on an incorrect network or with an incompatible token is not guaranteed, and already broadcast transfers cannot simply be reversed.

Review Data and Contact

Review information is restricted to the people and service providers who need it for the case, protection of the service or applicable obligations. Relevant records may be retained while a review or dispute requires them; our Privacy Policy explains the wider data model.
